The second of Carterton's two signature holes.
Tee off over the totara trees with pitching wedge, 9 or 8 iron depending on the wind and tee marker position, a slightly sloping uphill green from front to back. Short is better than long, but you must clear the trees that guard the front of the green.
The high handicapper can have a nightmare on this hole, if you duff it off the tee you'll be playing ping pong off the trees until you each the green. Any score from 1 to 10 is possible. That is what makes this hole so good.
