Local Rules

To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf and notices on the Notice Board

1. Out of Bounds
All boundary fences with the exception of:

* Holes 4 and 14 Out of Bounds defined by white pegs on left.
* Behind Green 18 Out of Bounds defined by white pegs.
* Greenkeepers shed and yard Out of Bounds defined by white pegs.

2. Small Trees
When a tree marked by a white peg restricts stance or swing, ball must be lifted and dropped within 1 club length without penalty. Rule 24-2b(1) applies.

3. Coloured Pegs
Red pegs define lateral water hazards. Yellow pegs define water hazards. Blue pegs define G.U.R.

4. G.U.R.
Play is prohibited from the G.U.R. separating the 17th, 18th and 1st fairways and players must take relief in accordance with Rule 25.

5. Cored Greens
A ball lying in a core hole may be lifted and placed not nearer the pin.

6. Placing
A ball lying on a closely mown area through the green may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and placed within 15cm not nearer the hole from where it originally lay. The ball must be marked prior to lifting.
