Following the popularity of a number of different junior golf initiatives, the Carterton Golf Club will again be hosting a weekly coaching programme for kids who want to learn how to play golf. Skills will be taught by our team of experienced volunteer coaches.
Kids will get a taste of playing real golf on a real course in a stunning yet safe environment. Activities will include driving, chipping and putting skills development, ambrose golf on the course and FootGolf on our fantastic 9-hole FootGolf course! A mini championship, prize-giving and sausage sizzle for the families will be held in the last week of the coaching programme.
Golf clubs are not required, we've got all the required kit! Kids must simply be dressed appropriately for outdoor sport. Parents / caregivers don't need to stick around (but can do so if they want to), but must please pick up kids at 6.00pm once the sessions end. Kids cannot be left to roam the course unattended.
